Our vision is for Māori and Pasifika students to be leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Our mission is to accelerate young people’s participation in STEM through project-based inquiry learning. WeSTEM projects require students to identify issues within their communities, and using STEM identify ways in which these issues can be addressed.  We partner students with industry experts and community leaders to learn, explore, grow and flourish in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

WeSTEM is an initiative of Te Hononga Akoranga COMET.
