Our latest issues of Whakarongo ki te Reo Mātātahi are now available, celebrating the voices, creativity and insight of Auckland’s young writers and artists.
Created with the talented ākonga of Northcote Intermediate School, Volume IV reflects the power of a kaupapa led from within the kura. Guided by their kaiako, students explored their ideas with honesty and imagination, adding a new chapter to this growing movement of rangatahi storytelling.
Produced by Room 12 at Glenbrae School, Volume V is a courageous and heartfelt collection shaped through their inquiry, Choices Change Communities. These students speak openly about the issues their community faces and the belief that change begins when young people choose to use their voices.
Both volumes show the depth, creativity and mana our rangatahi carry. We are proud to stand alongside them as they share their perspectives on the world they are inheriting and shaping.
