531 Pacific Breakfast talked to Will Flavell, Māori Education Manager at COMET Auckland about his thesis titled: Ko te waka reo Māori, he waka eke noa (The learning experiences, motivations, and attitudes of non-Māori secondary school students learning te reo Māori.)

Will says his study found that Pasifika students gravitated towards learning te reo Māori over other languages offered at school.
